Tottenham vs Swansea preview

Matchday Tottenham vs Swansea

Spurs :  White Hart Lane witnessed a calm composed game rather i would say . Right at the start Spurs intended to attack with the kind of line up they had . Lennon at the wings started to accelerate trying to create chances . Spurs had a decent game i would say . With Defoe with some shots off target and strong shot from Walker  , not much shots they made against the opposition . Defenders were good at the field , not providing any of the chances to Swansea and Michu. At the Second half , Vertonghen struck his first goal in the Premier League .

Swansea : With the return of the captain from the suspension and Michu’s tally of goals so far in this season , the team was expected to be in good morale against the Home side. The team hardly created chances and could never creep the opposition defense.  Michu hardly had possession over the ball , so he couldn’t turn a goal this time . Routledge and Dyer should have probably made use of the width of the pitch and should have good crosses which they never did .

Final thoughts : At the end it has to be the  Tottenham’s victory with the strength they had in the team and at the bench with the likes of Sirgudsson . The team is delighted with Parker back to the squad after a long term spell of injury . Still, Spurs should have to mend their gameplay to attack properly , create chances and deliver goals . Not much to worry about the loss for Swansea  . With a kind of form they are , there is no worries to suffer a defeat this weekend.A fine 3 points for Spurs to count on from the match .

Man of the match  : Defoe

Flop of the match : Adebayor
