Comprehensive win for Liverpool , but the scoreline don’t say so . They were creating clear cut chances but not able to convert them .

Liverpool

Pepe Reina : 7/10

Reina was solid at goal , he pulled of some descent saves, and though he was not troubled much by the Southampton forwards , he did a descent job at goal , Clean Sheet .

Jose Enrique :8.5/10

The left back carried on the form which he left against spurs , and he was scintillating at attack and descent enough in defense. The pace and strength of enrique troubled the saints right .

Daniel Agger :8.7/10

Daniel Agger was the only goal scorer in the game which secured the three points for reds .  He made some important clearances in the defense and made an very important header which lead to the single goal of the game. He was a constant nuisance in the opposition penalty area .

Lucas Leiva : 7.5/10

Lucas made his return after august , although there were some misplaced passes in the 1st half , he was gaining confidence as the match progressed , providing cover for skrtel and Agger .

Luis Suarez : 8/10

The Uruguayan international was a constant nuisance to the Southampton defense . He was more concentrated on creating chances for others , he should have had a goal for his name .

Southampton

Adam Lallana:6/10
The attacker looked bright but he did not had the required service he intended to receive.

Gaston Ramirez :4/10

Although we can see a touch of class from 12 million signing, he was actually the flop of the match.
Paulo Gazzaniga:6.5/10
The keeper was the best in the field for Southampton , He pulled of some descent saves , and was constantly troubled by the Liverpool forwards, he kept them Alive.
